Choose the floor around the room.

Luxury vinyl plank

Discuss the look, product, installation method and transitions you want. We review the existing floor and intended use before defining the work. Product suitability and care requirements depend on the flooring selected.

Laminate flooring

Plan the finish, layout and connections to adjoining rooms. Include the selected product, underlay requirements, door clearances and trim in the conversation so the estimate covers more than the visible surface.

Tile, carpet & mixed finishes

Tell us which rooms and materials are involved. A project with different finishes needs a coordinated scope for preparation, transitions and installation. We confirm what can be included for the actual property and selections.

A good finish starts underneath.

Existing conditions matter. Before new flooring goes down, the substrate, moisture concerns and any repair or preparation work need to be reviewed against the selected product requirements. The installation scope should not assume an unsuitable surface can simply be covered.

Removal, furniture & access

Identify who moves furniture and appliances, removes existing flooring and disposes of the waste. Tell us about stairs, occupied rooms and access restrictions so these responsibilities are clear before the work begins.

Transitions, doors & trim

Consider where the new floor meets other materials, stairs, doorways and baseboards. Removal or replacement of trim, door adjustments and transition pieces should be identified in the estimate rather than left as surprises.

One room—or part of a larger renovation.

Combine flooring with interior renovations or basement development, or include it in a commercial improvement. Share the complete project so the work can be planned in the right sequence.

Flooring questions

Can you install flooring I have already purchased?

Send the product name, installation instructions, quantity and photos of the area. We need to review the material, site conditions and what accessories or preparation are required before confirming the installation scope.

Can new flooring go over the existing floor?

Sometimes, but it should not be assumed. The existing materials, condition, height, substrate and selected product requirements need to be checked. Removal or preparation may be necessary.

What if the basement has dampness?

Tell us about leaks, damp areas, odours or previous repairs at the start. The cause and extent of moisture need to be assessed before a flooring plan is confirmed. A new finish is not a substitute for addressing the underlying problem.

Are baseboards and transitions included?

They are included only when identified in the agreed scope. Let us know whether you want to retain or replace baseboards, and which rooms or stairs meet the new flooring.

Can we stay in the home during installation?

That depends on the rooms, access and work sequence. Discuss usable areas, furniture, appliance moves, dust and any product-related restrictions before scheduling. The plan should explain how the affected space will be managed.

What affects the price of flooring installation?

Room size is only part of it. Material, removal, preparation, layout, stairs, trim, transitions and access can change the scope. Photos, approximate measurements and product details help us prepare a useful starting point; a site review may be needed.

Tell us about your flooring project.

Send the full project address, room sizes, photos of the existing floor, the material you are considering and your preferred timing. Choose Flooring Installation on the quote form and describe the rooms and work required.
